Privacy
This notice explains the limited information we collect through the Veracto landing site and early-access waitlist.
Who we are
Veracto is the project responsible for the processing described in this notice. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to [email protected]. We will add formal entity and postal details here before expanding early access beyond the initial testing group.
Information we collect
If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you submit and the date of submission. We also collect limited first-party product events, such as section views, CTA clicks and form outcomes. These events are designed not to include the email address or the content of your work.
The same events are also recorded by our own analytics software, together with the page address, the referring address and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived through. We run analytics without cookies: no identifier is stored on your device, and we do not build a profile that follows you between visits or across other sites. To count a visit only once, your network address and browser information are converted into a temporary identifier that is regenerated every day and cannot be traced back to you.
Our hosting and security infrastructure may process standard technical logs, including request time, browser information and network address, to operate and protect the site.
How we use information
We use waitlist information to manage early-access invitations and related product communication. We use aggregate site events to understand whether the landing experience works and where it needs to improve. We do not sell personal information.
Where data-protection law requires a lawful basis, we rely on your consent for waitlist communication and our legitimate interests in understanding, securing and improving the public site for limited analytics and operational logs. You can withdraw from waitlist communication at any time.
Connected services
This public site does not ask you to connect a work service. If you are later invited to early access, access to Telegram and other services will be covered by additional in-product notices and controls shown before connection.
Retention and service providers
We keep waitlist data while we operate the early-access program or until you ask us to remove it. We may use hosting and infrastructure providers to process data on our behalf and only for operating the service. We limit retention of operational data to what is reasonably needed for security, reliability and product analysis.
We use self-hosted analytics software running on our own server, so site analytics involves no third-party analytics provider and no transfer of these events to one. Analytics data for this site is stored and processed in the European Union.
International processing
Infrastructure providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable law requires it, we use an approved transfer mechanism or another legally recognized safeguard.
Your choices and contact
You can ask to access, correct or delete your waitlist information, or opt out of further email, by contacting [email protected]. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. You may also complain to the data-protection authority in the place where you live or work.
